Two worked silver flowers sit side by side across the finger rather than one centred bloom, each with a textured centre and layered petals, on an adjustable oxidised band.
A single flower centred on a ring is symmetrical and finishes cleanly. Two flowers side by side cannot be — there is no centre line, and the design reads along the finger instead of across it. That makes the ring look like a growing thing rather than an ornament, and it covers more of the finger while using less metal than one large bloom would. It is also why the piece works best on the index or middle finger, where there is length for it to run along.
The two flowers are deliberately not identical — one sits slightly proud of the other, and their petals overlap where they meet, so the pair reads as a sprig rather than a repeated stamp. Each centre is textured and holds the blackening, while the petal edges are polished back bright, which is what gives the flowers their depth on a surface this small.
Adjustable at the back, so no ring size is needed. Ease it open with both hands and set it once rather than flexing it daily.
Wear it alone on the index or middle finger. Oxidised florals suit cotton, khadi, linen and handloom, and pair naturally with silver-toned earrings rather than gold. Keep the rest of the hand bare.
Daily wear, college, office, travel and festivals.
Light, and the two flowers sit low enough that nothing catches on fabric.
This is brass given an oxidised, antique-silver finish rather than solid silver. The metal is deliberately darkened and then the raised surfaces are polished back, so the blackening stays in the recesses while the high points stay bright. That contrast is the entire point of oxidised work — it is what makes every engraved line, pierced opening and raised edge read separately instead of dissolving into one shiny surface. It also means the finish is not uniform by design, and small variations between pieces are normal rather than faults.
Put it on after perfume, hand cream and sanitiser, and take it off before washing up, swimming or sleeping. Wipe with a dry soft cloth only. Do not use silver polish, dip cleaners or toothpaste — they strip the blackening out of the recesses, which is the one kind of damage that cannot be undone on an oxidised piece. Store it dry in a pouch, away from other rings that could scratch it.
