A group of blue stones is set across the centre of a round face, enclosed by a border of tightly curled silver spirals running all the way around the rim. The band adjusts.
Rather than a plain rim or a row of beads, the outer edge is made of individual curls set side by side. Each one is a closed loop, so the border is a ring of small circles rather than a continuous line — which gives the rim far more edge to catch light than a smooth band, and makes the whole outer zone read as active where a plain rim would be quiet.
The blue stones sit as an irregular cluster rather than one centred stone or an even ring. That asymmetry is deliberate: a scattered group reads as a natural accumulation while a single centred stone reads as formal, and on a face already surrounded by a busy spiral border the looser arrangement keeps the two zones from feeling like competing patterns.
Blue is cool like the blackened silver, so it does not fight the metal the way red would, but it is lighter in tone so it still separates. On a face with a great deal of silver activity around it, that quiet separation is what lets a cluster of small stones hold the centre.
Adjustable at the back, so no ring size is needed. The design is roughly symmetrical, so orientation does not matter much.
Wear it alone with the hand bare. Blue suits indigo, navy, white, grey and ivory, and works with Western clothing as readily as traditional dress.
Festivals, parties, daytime functions, daily wear and travel.
Light for the width, with the spiral border rounded so nothing scratches.
This is brass given an oxidised, antique-silver finish rather than solid silver. The metal is deliberately darkened and then the raised surfaces are polished back, so the blackening stays in the recesses while the high points stay bright. That contrast is the entire point of oxidised work — it is what makes every engraved line, pierced opening and raised edge read separately instead of dissolving into one shiny surface. It also means the finish is not uniform by design, and small variations between pieces are normal rather than faults.
Put it on after perfume, hand cream and sanitiser, and take it off before washing up, swimming or sleeping. Wipe with a dry soft cloth only. Do not use silver polish, dip cleaners or toothpaste — they strip the blackening out of the recesses, which is the one kind of damage that cannot be undone on an oxidised piece. Store it dry in a pouch, away from other rings that could scratch it.
