A wide circular face is laid out as a mandala, with pale pink stones set as petals radiating from the centre and a further ring of them running around the outer edge. The band adjusts.
The pink appears twice — once in the petals near the centre and again in a band around the rim — with worked silver between. Repeating a colour at two different radii is what gives a concentric design its sense of depth: the eye registers the two rings as sitting at different distances rather than as one flat pattern, and travels between them.
Pink is the warm exception in a range where almost every stone is cool — turquoise, blue, clear, black. Being both warmer and lighter in tone than the metal, it lifts clear off the dark ground instead of sinking into it, which softens a finish that can otherwise read as severe. It is the piece to choose if blackened silver has felt too heavy or too tribal.
Each stone is shaped to fill its place in the pattern — pointed for the petals, square-ended for the border — rather than being a round stone dropped into a hole. That is the older way of working, and it is why the colour reads as part of the design rather than as decoration applied to it.
Adjustable at the back, so no ring size is needed. The design is concentric, so it cannot sit the wrong way up.
Wear it alone with the hand bare — the face is wide and needs the room. Pink suits blush, ivory, grey, white and dusty rose, and works with Western clothing as readily as a kurta.
Festivals, weddings, parties, daytime functions and family gatherings.
Light for the width, with the stones set low so nothing catches.
This is brass given an oxidised, antique-silver finish rather than solid silver. The metal is deliberately darkened and then the raised surfaces are polished back, so the blackening stays in the recesses while the high points stay bright. That contrast is the entire point of oxidised work — it is what makes every engraved line, pierced opening and raised edge read separately instead of dissolving into one shiny surface. It also means the finish is not uniform by design, and small variations between pieces are normal rather than faults.
Put it on after perfume, hand cream and sanitiser, and take it off before washing up, swimming or sleeping. Wipe with a dry soft cloth only. Do not use silver polish, dip cleaners or toothpaste — they strip the blackening out of the recesses, which is the one kind of damage that cannot be undone on an oxidised piece. Store it dry in a pouch, away from other rings that could scratch it.
