Anti-Tarnish Twin Band Sunburst Bloom Solitaire Ring

A full round bloom with dozens of fine petals radiating from a granulated centre sits at one end of an open twin band, with a round brilliant-cut stone opposite. It is the most detailed motif in the wrap family and the one that reads most clearly from a distance.

A Sun, Not a Daisy

Where a daisy has a handful of broad petals, this bloom has many narrow ones packed tightly all the way round, which turns it from a flower into something closer to a sunburst. The practical effect is that it catches light at dozens of angles instead of five or six, so the motif stays bright even in dim rooms where a simpler flower would go flat.

Design Details

Each petal is individually ridged and tapers towards its tip, and the rows are dense enough that the gaps between them read as fine dark lines rather than as open space. The centre is a raised granulated dome, which gives the eye a focal point and stops the radiating lines from becoming dizzying. At the other end of the band, the solitaire is claw-set and raised so light enters from the sides. The ring weighs around four grams.

How to Style It

Wear it on the ring or middle finger with the rest of the hand plain. It is brighter and busier than the other wrap rings in the range, which makes it a good choice if you want one ring to carry the whole hand. It works for everyday wear and holds up well at a function, and it is particularly good against plain fabric where the radiating petals read cleanly.

Why the Anti-Tarnish Finish Matters

A densely petalled bloom is almost entirely narrow grooves, and the granulated centre adds a field of tiny hollows on top of that. Under ordinary plating both darken quickly and the sunburst collapses into a textured disc. The stainless steel core and anti-tarnish gold plating used here are what keep the individual petals separate.

Comfort and Fit

The open wrap makes the ring adjustable across most finger sizes. The petals lie flat and their tips are rounded, so despite the detail it does not snag easily.

Caring for It

Use a dry soft brush and work outward from the centre, so dust is carried off the bloom rather than deeper into it. Put the ring on after perfume and lotion. Store it in its pouch, and remove it before swimming, bathing and housework.
