A single polished line of gold curves across the finger, swelling gently through the middle and tapering away to a fine curled tail. It is a serpent reduced to its simplest possible form — no scales, no modelled head, no eyes. Just the movement.
Most serpent jewellery is heavily detailed: textured scales, set eyes, an open mouth. That approach is dramatic but it dates quickly and it can tip into costume. Stripping the motif back to a smooth curve does the opposite — it turns the snake into a piece of abstract sculpture that happens to suggest a snake, which is far easier to wear every day and far less likely to look dated in two years.
The body varies in thickness along its whole length, which is what makes the form convincing — a constant-width wire would read as a bent rod rather than a creature. It is polished to a clean mirror, so the curve is traced by a single travelling highlight as the hand moves. The tail curls under and finishes with a rounded tip, and the head end is a soft blunt swell with no features at all. Weight is around four grams.
This works alone and it works stacked. On its own, on the index or middle finger, it reads as a quiet sculptural piece. Worn alongside a plain band it becomes more deliberate. It suits modern dressing especially well — plain shirts, knitwear, anything in a solid colour — and because there is no texture to catch, it is practical for everyday use.
A design with no texture has nowhere to hide. The entire effect depends on an unbroken polished curve, and the moment the surface clouds, the travelling highlight breaks up and the form goes flat. There is no detail to fall back on. The stainless steel core and anti-tarnish gold plating used here are what keep the line clean.
This is among the most comfortable shapes in the range. There is no texture, no setting and no sharp edge anywhere on it. The ring is made with an adjustable fit for most finger sizes, and the open construction makes adjusting it straightforward.
A dry soft cloth over the whole piece is enough, since every surface is smooth and reachable. Put the ring on after hand cream. Store it in its pouch to protect the polish, and remove it before swimming and bathing.
