Laddu Gopal shringar is sold by number rather than by measurement, and the number refers to the idol, not to the ornament. Idol makers cast Thakur Ji in a graded series — No. 1 upward — and every mukut, haar and poshak is cut to one of those grades. If you already know your Laddu Gopal's number, match it. If you do not, measure the idol from the base to the top of the head and ask before ordering; we would rather check than have something arrive that will not sit.
American Diamond is cubic zirconia, grown rather than mined. On deity ornaments it does a specific job: mandir lighting is warm and dim, and CZ holds its brightness under a lamp where cheaper paste stones simply go grey.
Shringar changes with the season and the festival in many households: lighter sets for summer, richer ones for Janmashtami and Diwali, and often a particular colour kept for a particular day.
A new set for Thakur Ji is a common Janmashtami present. The only thing to get right is the idol number, so check it before ordering rather than guessing from a photograph.
Store it away from the diya. Heat and soot age a plated finish quickly, and in a mandir both are constant. A dry wipe after use and a closed pouch between wearings is the whole of the care it needs.
Deity ornaments are handled more often than worn jewellery, because the idol is bathed and dressed each day. Pieces that fasten simply get used; fiddly ones stay in the box.
Keyura is prepaid only — there is no cash on delivery on any order.
