The body is a tall silver panel, outlined with rows of fine beading and set with oval clear stones down both sides, with a single round turquoise stone at the centre. The panel narrows to a point at the base, where a small cluster of turquoise beads hangs.
Available in 2 colours: Sea Green and Red. The colour refers to the centre stone and the bead drops. Sea Green is the turquoise version shown; Red is warmer and more traditional.
The shape is unusual for silver — tall and narrow, coming to a point, closer to a shield or an arch than the round and crescent forms that dominate Indian earrings. That verticality is flattering, drawing a long line beside the jaw rather than widening it.
Outlining every edge with beading is what gives the panel definition. Without it the silver would read as a flat plate; with it, each section of the design has its own visible border and the whole piece gains depth.
A single round turquoise cabochon sits at the widest point of the panel, framed in a raised bezel. It is the only strong colour in the upper half of the earring, so the eye goes straight to it before travelling down to the fringe.
A small, tight cluster of faceted beads hangs at the point of the panel. Kept deliberately compact rather than spread wide, so the vertical line of the earring is not broken at the bottom.
Post fitting, light, narrow, hanging close to the face. They are comfortable enough for everyday wear and smart enough for a function.
Cotton, handloom and simple silks. The narrow profile means they work with high necklines and collars where wider earrings would crowd. Hair up or down both work. Keep other jewellery in plain oxidised silver.
Most Indian earrings widen as they fall, which looks wonderful with an open neckline and awkward with a closed one. A tall narrow panel behaves differently: it stays within the clear space beside the jaw and never spreads over the shoulder line, so it works with a high collar, a closed kurta or a jacket. It also sits well with a necklace, because the two occupy different areas rather than competing for the same space. For anyone who dresses more formally or wears a mangalsutra daily, that is a practical advantage.
Keep them in a zip lock pouch, put them on after perfume, wipe with a dry soft cloth and keep them away from water.
