A small textured star sits at the lobe, and below it three open rings of decreasing size nest inside one another, with a round cat's-eye stone set where they converge. Available in Yellow, Green, Mint, Red, Aqua, Grey, Baby Pink, Blue and Black.
There is nothing traditional about this earring. It is three circles and a star, arranged so the circles are not concentric but offset, spiralling inward towards the stone. That offset is what makes it work — perfectly nested rings would read as a static target, whereas spiralling ones lead the eye inward and give the design a sense of motion even when it is still.
The rings are fine round wire, polished smooth, with no visible joins. They are fixed relative to one another rather than hanging freely, so the spiral keeps its shape instead of collapsing into a stack. The star above is finished with a fine granular texture rather than polished, which stops it competing with the rings for brightness and keeps the lobe end visually quiet. The stone is small, bezel-set and placed off-centre at the tightest point of the spiral.
The colour is the single small stone, so it functions as an accent rather than a dominant feature — which means you can choose boldly. Black and Grey are the most modern. Red and Green are the most traditional. Mint, Aqua, Baby Pink and Yellow are the soft options, and Blue sits in the middle.
These belong with modern clothing — shirts, dresses, co-ord sets, plain kurtas. The open rings read best against a plain background, so keep the neckline simple. They work with hair up or down since the silhouette is broad rather than long.
Parties, evenings, office and daily wear. Among the most versatile designs in this collection.
Very light. The design is almost entirely open wire with one small stone, so there is very little mass, and nothing hangs low enough to swing against the neck.
Put these on after perfume, hairspray and foundation — cosmetics shorten the life of plating faster than anything else. Wipe with a dry soft cloth after wearing and use a dry soft brush around the stone settings and through any fringe. Store them in a pouch rather than loose in a box, and never use toothpaste, bleach or an ultrasonic cleaner.

Weight is what decides whether an earring gets worn twice. These are hollow plated brass rather than solid metal, so a shape that looks substantial in a photograph sits lightly on the lobe — which is the whole reason a large traditional earring can be worn through a wedding without the piercing complaining by the end of it. If you are used to small studs, expect to feel the length for the first hour and then stop noticing it.
Costume jewellery earns its place by letting you wear a shape you would never commission in precious metal. The designs here come out of a tradition centuries old; the materials do not pretend to, and we do not describe them as though they did.
