A large teardrop stone sits at the base and a slim silver crescent arcs over the top of it, finished at both ends with small star shaped finials. The two elements barely overlap, so the stone and the metal each keep their own clear shape.
Available in 6 colours: Blood Red, Baby Pink, Peach, Sea Green, Green and Yellow. The colour refers to the large teardrop stone.
This is a compact earring that behaves like a much larger one. The crescent widens the top considerably, so the pair covers a good amount of the lobe, but because nothing hangs below there is no weight or swing at all. If you like the look of statement jewellery but not the practicalities, this shape is a good answer.
The composition is also unusually modern for oxidised silver. A single stone and a single curved line, with plenty of empty space between them, is closer to contemporary studio jewellery than to traditional ornament.
A large smooth cabochon, domed and unfaceted, holding a deep even colour. At this size relative to the earring, the stone is unmistakably the subject, and the crescent above simply frames it.
Slim and evenly tapered, with a fine beaded texture along its length and small pointed star finials at each tip. Those finials are the only ornament in the entire design, and they stop the crescent from reading as a plain bar.
Post fitting, sitting flat against the lobe. Light, stable, and nothing to catch on clothing or hair.
Solid colours suit them best, and the stone options cover a good range — Blood Red and Green for traditional wear, Peach and Baby Pink for something softer, Yellow for contrast against indigo or black. They work equally with a kurta or a plain shirt. Keep other jewellery to simple silver.
The gap between the crescent and the stone is not a shortcut; it is the most considered part of this design. Most earrings at this price fill every available millimetre, because more material reads as better value at a glance. Leaving deliberate space between two elements requires confidence that the shapes are strong enough to hold attention on their own. When it works, as here, the piece reads as designed rather than assembled, and it looks considerably more expensive than a crowded earring of the same weight.
Keep them in a zip lock pouch, put them on after perfume, wipe with a dry soft cloth and keep them away from water.
