Two very different stones, stacked. At the top, a cluster of clear flat cut kundan petals fans outward. Below it sits a single large rectangular stone in a soft pink, framed in fine gold and bordered underneath by a row of smaller clear kundan stones.
Available in 4 colours: Green, Pink, Blue and White. The colour refers to the large rectangular centre stone; the kundan cluster above and the border below stay clear in every option. Pink and White are the softest, Green is the most traditional, and Blue is the easiest with western clothes.
The proportion is what makes this design. The big rectangular stone is large enough to be the obvious focus, and everything around it is deliberately kept clear and small so nothing competes. That restraint is why the earring looks expensive rather than busy.
The large stone is cut with a faceted table, so it catches light across its whole flat surface at once rather than in scattered points. Against the milky flat cut kundan around it, that difference in how the two stones handle light is what gives the piece its depth.
Kundan is set by seating each stone in a bed of soft metal and pressing it into place, which leaves a raised gold outline around every stone. Look closely at the petal cluster and you will see that outline clearly. It is what distinguishes real kundan setting from stones simply glued into a stamped frame.
Post and back studs, sitting flat against the lobe with nothing hanging below. At this size they read as a proper occasion earring while remaining comfortable enough for a full day at a wedding or a long function.
They pair naturally with silk and chiffon in complementary tones — pick the stone colour to echo something in your outfit rather than match it exactly. Because they are wide but not long, they suit both high and open necklines. A short necklace or a simple chain is enough alongside; a heavy neckpiece would crowd them.
The four options behave quite differently in wear. Pink and White are the safest with pastels, cream and gold, and they photograph softly. Green reads as the most traditional and sits naturally with silk and temple jewellery. Blue is the outlier and the most useful if you also wear western clothes, because a clear blue stone in a gold frame works with navy, grey and black in a way the warmer colours do not. If you are choosing one pair to cover the most occasions, Blue or White will stretch furthest.
Keep them in a zip lock pouch so the stones are not scratched by other jewellery. Put them on after perfume and hairspray, which dull stones faster than anything else. Wipe with a dry soft cloth and keep them away from water.
