A crescent of clear kundan, bordered along its outer curve with small pink stones, hangs from a matching stone set top. Below it three small jhumkas hang on short links, each with its own pearl fringe, with pink bead drops falling between them.
Available in 3 colours: Baby Pink, Red and Pink. The colour refers to the border stones and the bead drops.
Hanging three complete jhumkas beneath a crescent, rather than a single fringe, gives the lower half of the earring a rhythm. Each bell swings on its own link and slightly out of time with its neighbours, so the movement is layered rather than uniform.
It also adds length without adding a solid mass. Three small bells weigh considerably less than one large one of equivalent visual size, which is what makes a long earring wearable through a function.
Clear kundan across the body with a coloured border — the reverse of the usual arrangement, where colour fills the centre. Putting the colour on the outside traces the shape of the crescent and makes it read more clearly from a distance.
Each of the three is a proper miniature jhumka with a domed body and its own fringe of tiny pearls. The centre one hangs slightly lower than the two beside it, which softens the bottom edge into a shallow curve.
Post fitting. Bridal scale but distributed across many small elements, so the weight is manageable for an evening.
Pink and gold with a lehenga, silk saree or anarkali. They work against ivory, cream and deep green. Hair up, short necklace or none.
When jewellery is built from several small components rather than one cast piece, three things improve at once. The weight drops, because small hollow parts use less metal than a single solid form. The movement improves, because each element swings independently. And the piece catches light from more angles, since the surfaces face in different directions. It is more work to make, which is why mass produced jewellery tends toward single large panels, and it is the clearest signal of care in a piece at this price.
One further thought on colour. Pink and gold is the safest bridal pairing there is, but it is also the one most other guests will be wearing. If the event matters and you would rather not blend in, the Red option gives the same design considerably more weight, while Baby Pink takes it somewhere softer and more daytime. The design carries all three equally well.
Store them in their own pouch so the small bells cannot tangle. Put them on after perfume and hairspray, and keep them away from water.
