A small round stud at the lobe carries a broad triangular panel of clear kundan, the stones laid in rows that widen as they descend. Around the lower edge hang large white pearls on fine gold links.
Available in 7 colours: Baby Pink, Pink, Lavender, Multi Color, Green, Red and White. The colour refers to the accent stones set through the panel; the main kundan body stays clear.
Large pearls hung on visible links behave very differently from a tight pearl fringe. Each one swings independently with a noticeable delay, so the bottom of the earring moves in a slow, heavy way rather than shimmering. Against the rigid stone panel above, that slow movement is what gives the pair its character.
Using fewer, larger pearls also reads as more expensive than many small ones, because size is the first thing the eye judges in a pearl.
Flat cut kundan set in graduated rows — smaller stones at the top, larger toward the base — all held in raised gold beds. The widening rows lead the eye downward and make the triangle feel like a considered shape rather than a filled outline.
A triangle is unusual in Indian earrings, which lean heavily on circles and crescents. It gives this pair a slightly more structured, architectural quality, and the broad base balances a small stud at the lobe better than a narrow drop would.
Post fitting. The panel is openwork behind the stones, so while these have real presence they stay manageable through a function.
Silk sarees, lehengas and formal anarkalis. Because the body is clear kundan and white pearl, they go with a wider range of outfit colours than a strongly coloured pair. Hair up, short necklace or none.
Pearls are softer than every stone around them and are the first thing to deteriorate in a mixed piece. Perfume, hairspray and sweat all dull the surface, and storing them loose against metal or faceted stones scratches them. The rule is simple: put pearl jewellery on last, after fragrance and hair, take it off first at the end of the evening, wipe it with a dry soft cloth, and keep it in its own pouch rather than in a shared box.
Store them in their own pouch so the pearls are not scratched. Put them on after perfume and hairspray, wipe with a dry soft cloth, and keep them away from water.
