A square stone sits at the lobe in a border of small clear crystals, and from it hangs a long tapering cone woven from fine gold mesh — hundreds of tiny linked rings that move like fabric rather than metal.

The mesh is what makes these unusual. Because it is woven from many small rings rather than cast as a solid shape, it drapes and swings like cloth, catching light in a continuously shifting way as you move. A solid metal cone of the same size would be heavier, stiffer and far less interesting.
