This gold bird ear chain tells a small story down the length of the ear. It begins with a green clover-shaped stud, passes through a silver flower, and a gold-tone bird perches halfway along, looking down towards a large disc of green kundan stones.
The clover at the top is made of four green stones in gold settings. Below it, a silver flower with a green centre acts as the hinge of the design, and from there the line curves downward.
The bird is modelled in gold tone with its tail raised and wings folded, perched on the rim of the disc below. That disc is the widest part: green kundan stones arranged in a flower inside a double ring of pearl-like beads, with a silver-tone frame holding everything together.
The clover stud goes through your normal lobe piercing, and the rest of the design curves along the outer ear with the disc resting lower down. No second piercing is required.
Green kundan sits beautifully against ivory, gold, maroon and mustard. Wear this with a silk saree or a festive suit and put your hair up so the bird and the full curve are visible.
