Product Description

Product Overview

A whole parade of elephants marches around this kada, trunk to tail. Most are in silver tone, with one gold-tone elephant standing out at the front. It is a joyful, auspicious design that brings good luck symbolism to the wrist.

Design Details

Each elephant is a sculpted, three-dimensional figure with a decorated saddle cloth, large ears, a curled trunk and sturdy legs. The elephants are joined one after another to form the bangle, so the outline is wavy rather than a smooth circle. The inside of each figure shows a polished, slightly iridescent finish. A cylindrical screw clasp sits between two of the elephants to open the kada.

Product Highlights

  • Linked sculpted elephants forming the bangle
  • One gold-tone elephant among silver ones
  • Decorated saddle cloths and curled trunks
  • Screw clasp
  • Dual-tone finish

Why It Stands Out

Instead of decorating a plain band with elephants, this kada is built entirely from them, which is what makes it so memorable. The single gold elephant breaks the pattern and gives the eye a starting point, turning the bangle into a little story of a procession.

Styling Suggestions

This kada is a conversation piece: wear it with plain kurtas, cotton sarees or even denim to let the elephants shine. It is a lovely choice for Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali and housewarming functions.

Perfect For

  • Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali and housewarmings
  • Gifts for good luck
  • Unusual jewellery lovers
  • Casual and fusion styling

Size and Fit

A small screw opens the kada, so it goes around the wrist rather than over the hand. It suits most average wrists; for a particular size, check with us on WhatsApp first.

About the Dual-Tone Finish

Dual-tone means two platings on one piece — a bright silver tone and a warm gold tone, applied to different parts of the same design so each section reads separately. It is harder than a single finish because the two have to be masked off from one another, and it is why these pieces show their detail so clearly: the eye separates the gold elements from the silver ones before it has read a single stone. The base metal underneath is brass, so this is plating rather than solid gold or silver.

Care

Put this on after perfume, hairspray and hand cream, and take it off before washing, swimming or sleeping. Wipe with a dry soft cloth and use a dry soft brush around the stone settings and between any pearls, where a cloth cannot reach. Store it in a zip-lock pouch — which is what the supplier themselves advise, and the single most effective thing for a plated piece, because it keeps humid air off the metal. Never use silver polish, dip cleaners or an ultrasonic cleaner.
