These pearl bangles come as a set of two and take a simpler approach than most pearl jewellery. Rows of small white pearls run the length of each bangle, and rather than flower clusters the breaks are single upright baguette stones, rectangular and cut with flat faces, in green, clear, red and violet. The result is cleaner and more modern than a traditional pearl bangle, and the scattered colours mean the pair will go with more than one outfit.
The pearls are threaded in parallel rows along fine gold rails, giving the bangle a beaded texture and a small amount of flex. What distinguishes this pair is the shape of the accent stones: a baguette is a long rectangle with a flat top, and here each one is set standing upright across the pearl rows like a bar, held between two small gold claws. Because the baguettes are taller than they are wide, they break the run of pearls cleanly instead of blending into it. Their colours are not arranged in a repeating sequence, so no two stretches of the bangle look quite the same, and the gold rails stay bright and narrow so the pearls carry the piece.
Because the accent colours are mixed, these are easier to place than a single-colour pair: they will sit happily against green, red, ivory, navy or grey without matching any of them exactly. They suit a daytime function, a festive lunch or an office celebration more than a heavy evening wedding. Wear the two together and keep other jewellery small, since pearls are easily overwhelmed.
Festive daytime occasions, mehendi and haldi functions, office celebrations, family gatherings, and gifting to someone who likes pearls but wants a little colour with them.
This design is made in sizes 2.6 and 2.8. Indian bangle sizes count upward, so a 2.4 is a smaller fit than a 2.6 and a 2.8 is larger again, with 2.6 the size most women take. These slip on over the hand rather than opening on a hinge or a screw, so choosing correctly matters more here than it would on an adjustable bangle.
The reliable way to find your size is to take a bangle that already fits you, measure straight across the inside from edge to edge, and match that against a bangle size chart. If you do not own one, bring your thumb across to the base of your little finger as though you were slipping a bangle on, wrap a strip of paper snugly around the widest part of that shape, mark where it overlaps and measure it flat. If you fall between two sizes take the larger one: a bangle that will not pass the hand cannot be worn at all, while a slightly loose one still sits well. Send us your measurement on WhatsApp and we will confirm the size before the order is taken.
Keep these away from water, perfume, hair spray and sanitiser entirely: all of them dull pearl-look beads permanently and the damage cannot be reversed. Put the bangles on last when dressing, wipe them with a dry soft cloth afterwards, and store them in a soft pouch where nothing presses against the pearl rows or catches a raised baguette.
