This oxidised kada is sold as a single piece and is the widest and most stone-heavy of the silver styles in this range. Three rows of green stones run the full length of the band: large ovals along the top and bottom edges, and a row of smaller squares set between them down the centre. There is almost no plain silver visible from the front, which is what gives the piece its solid block of colour on the wrist.
The two outer rows are the same size and set in matching bezels, so the band reads symmetrically whichever way up you wear it. The middle row is the detail that makes it work: square stones, set on the straight rather than turned on the diagonal, and slightly recessed between the ovals so the centre of the band dips a little. That shallow channel catches shadow and stops three rows of green from flattening into one mass. The bezels touch each other along their edges, leaving only thin walls of oxidised silver between the stones, and a plain rolled rim closes both sides of the band.
This is a statement kada and needs a bare wrist. It looks strongest against plain fabric in a colour that is not green, so black, white, cream, mustard or indigo all work better than a green outfit, which flattens the effect. It belongs with handloom, cotton and linen rather than silk. Wear it alone and keep everything else small, including earrings.
Parties and evenings out, festive occasions, exhibitions and craft fairs, and gifting to someone who likes bold silver jewellery rather than delicate pieces.
This design is adjustable rather than fixed: it opens on a screw so the same piece fits a range of wrists, which is why no size needs to be chosen at checkout. Open it only as far as the hand needs and close it gently, because repeatedly forcing an adjustable bangle wider is what eventually weakens the joint.
If you are unsure whether it will suit a particularly slim or broad wrist, ask us on WhatsApp before ordering and we will check the opening range for you.
With stones set this closely there is very little bare metal, so clean with a dry soft brush rather than a cloth, which catches on the bezel edges. Do not soak it: water sits in the channel between the rows and is slow to dry. Open the kada only as far as your hand needs, and keep it away from perfume and sanitiser.
