These gold plated pearl row bangles come as a set of two and are the plainest pearl pair in this range: rows of small white pearls wrapped closely around a thin gold frame, with no stones and no metalwork motifs at all. The whole effect rests on the pearls themselves and the narrow line of gold that shows at each edge. They are the kind of bangles that sit quietly beside heavier jewellery rather than competing with it.
Each bangle carries several parallel rows of small round pearls, threaded on gold wire and packed tightly enough that no gaps show between them. Because the rows sit side by side rather than in a single line, the bangle has a soft, rounded profile across its face and a pleasing weight in the hand despite being light. A thin gold rail runs along both edges, holding the rows in place and giving the piece a clean finished line where it meets the wrist. There is no clasp and no opening: these slip on like a traditional bangle, which is why the size matters.
Plain pearl bangles are the most useful thing on a wrist during a long function, because they go with every outfit colour and every other piece of jewellery. Wear the pair together for a soft, full look, or split them either side of a stone bangle so the pearls frame it. They suit pastels, ivory and pale silks especially well, and they are restrained enough to wear to an office celebration where stonework would be too much.
Weddings and daytime functions, mehendi and haldi ceremonies, engagements, festive lunches, office celebrations, and gifting to someone who wears pearls regularly.
This design is made in sizes 2.4 and 2.8. Indian bangle sizes count upward, so a 2.4 is a smaller fit than a 2.6 and a 2.8 is larger again, with 2.6 the size most women take. These slip on over the hand rather than opening on a hinge or a screw, so choosing correctly matters more here than it would on an adjustable bangle.
The reliable way to find your size is to take a bangle that already fits you, measure straight across the inside from edge to edge, and match that against a bangle size chart. If you do not own one, bring your thumb across to the base of your little finger as though you were slipping a bangle on, wrap a strip of paper snugly around the widest part of that shape, mark where it overlaps and measure it flat. If you fall between two sizes take the larger one: a bangle that will not pass the hand cannot be worn at all, while a slightly loose one still sits well. Send us your measurement on WhatsApp and we will confirm the size before the order is taken.
Pearls are ruined by moisture and chemicals and the damage cannot be reversed, so keep these away from water, perfume, hair spray and sanitiser entirely. Put them on after you have finished getting ready, wipe them with a dry soft cloth afterwards, and store them in a soft pouch where nothing presses against the pearl rows.
