A fluted half fan of silver sits at the top of the pendant like a small crown. Below it, a rectangular stone in a granulated frame, and below that a large oval stone filling the centre, with a peacock on each side facing outward, their bodies set with small clear and coloured stones. Pearl clusters hang at three points along the lower edge. The chain is silver ball, and the earrings repeat the whole arrangement at a smaller scale.
Available in 5 colours: Blue, Ruby, Sea Green, Green and White. The colour refers to the stones around the oval.
The pendant stacks four distinct elements — crown, rectangle, oval, peacocks — into a compact shape. Each is a different size and a different character, so a small pendant carries as much interest as a much larger one.
The large oval is pale and smooth while everything around it is coloured and faceted. That single calm surface at the centre is what holds the composition together and stops it from becoming busy.
Facing outward rather than inward, with tails curling back toward the centre. Turning them out widens the pendant and gives the pearl clusters somewhere to hang from.
A half fan of ribbed silver at the very top, plain and stoneless. It caps the pendant cleanly and separates it from the chain.
The pendant sits just below the collarbone. Light for the amount of detail it carries, and the ball chain lies flat.
Plain cotton, handloom and simple silk. The pale centre stone means this works against darker outfits particularly well.
A small pendant has a choice: one clear element, or several stacked. A single element at small scale often reads as plain, while stacking three or four gives the eye something to travel through and makes the piece feel considered rather than minimal. The constraint is that each element must be clearly different in size and shape from the one above it, or the stack reads as clutter. Here the progression from a plain crown to a small rectangle to a large oval does exactly that — three steps, each distinct, in a pendant barely larger than a rupee coin.
A pendant that carries this much detail in a small area rewards being seen close up, which means the chain length matters more than usual. Worn just below the collarbone the whole stack is visible and the peacocks read clearly; worn long, the detail is lost at conversational distance and the piece reads as a plain oval. If the chain feels too long, a simple knot behind the neck shortens it without any alteration, and the pendant will still sit straight.
Never use a silver dip, which strips the oxidised finish. Wipe with a dry soft cloth and store flat so the pearl clusters are not crushed.
