A long necklace built from scrolled links — each a curl of silver set with a round stone, joined so the pattern runs continuously down both sides like a climbing vine. It ends at a broad oval pendant, pierced through with scrollwork and centred on a six petal flower of large teardrop stones, with smaller stones scattered across the surface and a pearl fringe along the lower edge. The matching earrings repeat the flower under a scrolled top.
Available in 9 colours: Ruby, Multi Color, Red, White, Baby Pink, Black, Blue, Green and Sea Green. The colour refers to the stones throughout.
The chain and the pendant use the same vocabulary. The scrolls in the links are the same curls that fill the pendant, so the piece reads as one continuous design rather than a pendant attached to a chain that happens to match.
Stones run the entire length, not just at the front. That is unusual at this size and it means the necklace holds its interest from the side and from behind, where most long pieces go plain.
Pierced right through between the scrolls, so the flower at its centre is surrounded by open silverwork rather than a solid ground. It keeps a large oval light and lets fabric show through.
Six large teardrop stones set point inward around a round centre — the standard temple arrangement, at a scale big enough to dominate the pendant.
Long, with the pendant at mid chest. The linked scrolls hinge at every join, so it follows the body rather than standing away from it.
Silk sarees, plain cotton and handloom. Because it hangs low it works with high necklines and closed collars. With nine colours, match one shade already in the outfit.
A choker is limited by the neckline it meets; a long necklace is not. It sits below the collar, so it works with a closed kurta, a high blouse, a jacket or a dupatta, and it stays visible when the hair is down. It also reads as less formal at the same level of detail, because the piece is spread over a greater length rather than concentrated at the throat. For anyone whose wardrobe is mostly kurtas and everyday sarees rather than open necked blouses, a long haar is likely to be worn several times as often as a choker of equivalent value.
Never use a silver dip, which strips the oxidised finish. Wipe with a dry soft cloth and store flat so the chain does not tangle.
