A smooth curved collar, half oxidised silver and half gold, with a fine pearl fringe running along its lower edge. A round sunburst medallion — ribbed outward from a raised centre — hangs below the front, and the matching earrings are round discs with their own pearl clusters. It ties with a black dori.
Available in Dual Tone — the combined gold and silver finish shown, with no coloured stones.
There are no stones anywhere. The whole piece depends on the shape of the collar, the meeting of the two metals and the texture of the medallion, which is a much harder thing to carry off than covering a surface in colour.
That also makes it the most versatile necklace in the range. With no colour to coordinate, it goes with every outfit you own, and it will not date as stone fashions change.
Deep ribs radiate from a raised centre, so the disc catches light in a series of lines rather than as one flat reflection. Turning slightly changes which ribs are lit, which gives a stoneless piece the movement that stones would otherwise provide.
Gold and oxidised silver meet along a clean line across the collar rather than blending, so each keeps a defined area. That separation is what makes dual tone look intentional, and it means the piece sits comfortably with either gold or silver bangles.
A fine row of small pearls along the lower edge of the collar, understated rather than dense. It softens the hard curve of the metal without adding visual weight.
High on the throat, holding its curve. Lighter than a stone set collar of the same size, and comfortable for a full day rather than only an evening.
Genuinely everything — cotton, linen, handloom, silk, and western clothes too. With no colour in the piece there is nothing to clash. An open neckline shows the collar best.
Most jewellery collections are built around colour, which means every piece has to be matched to an outfit and many end up rarely worn. A well made stoneless piece has no such constraint: it is chosen for the shape rather than the shade, it suits traditional and western dressing equally, and there is nothing in it that can loosen, cloud or chip. If you own several coloured sets already, a plain metal one is almost always the piece that gets used most.
Store it flat in a pouch, keep the dori dry, put it on after perfume and wipe with a dry soft cloth.
