This anti tarnish cuff is the most restrained piece in the range, and for a lot of people that is exactly why it works. A fine gold-toned band, a single line of small clear stones running along it, and nothing else. It is the kind of bangle you can wear with a sari, a salwar suit or jeans without thinking about whether it suits the outfit, and the anti-tarnish coating means it still looks new after months of that kind of use.
The band is narrow and gently tapered, thickest across the top of the wrist and thinning towards the open back where the two ends pass close to one another. Along the upper face runs a single row of small round stones, set low and close together so the line reads as a continuous thread of light rather than a series of separate points. The underside is smooth and unset, which keeps it comfortable against the skin and means nothing digs in when you rest your wrist on a desk. The polished gold tone is carried over the whole piece and sealed with an anti-tarnish layer.
This is a natural stacking piece. Two or three together look deliberate rather than cluttered, and it sits well beside a watch because the band is slim enough not to compete with a strap. Worn alone it gives a plain outfit one clean line of sparkle. It works equally with Indian and western clothes, which is not true of most stone-set bangles.
Daily wear, office, college, travel, and as a first piece of stone-set jewellery for someone who finds traditional Korean-style bracelet too heavy. Also a safe gift, because the design is simple enough to suit almost anyone's taste.
Wear it last, after perfume and hair spray have settled, and take it off before bathing or swimming. A dry soft cloth after wearing is all it needs; run it along the stone line to lift residue that would otherwise dull the sparkle. Never soak it. Store it in its own pouch so other jewellery cannot scrape the plated surface, and the finish will keep its colour for a long time.
Width changes everything about how a wrist piece wears. A slim band disappears into a stack and goes under a sleeve; a broad cuff is the piece you chose to wear and needs the rest of the wrist left empty. Neither is more formal by default — it is the width that decides.
Nothing here is hallmarked and none of it carries resale value, and both facts are stated plainly rather than buried. What you are buying is the design and the finish at a price that lets you match a piece to one outfit without weighing up the cost.
